Beyond self-paced courses, Klavelio runs periodic online workshops where participants engage with financial education topics in a live, interactive group setting.
What to expect from a Klavelio event
Our events complement the structured learning of our courses. They are not sales presentations or promotional sessions. Each event is a focused educational experience on a specific personal finance topic, run online via video conference so participants can join from anywhere in the UK.
Sessions vary in format. Some are structured workshops with prepared content and exercises. Others are more open Q&A sessions where participants can ask general questions about topics covered in our courses. All events are run by members of the Klavelio education team.
Event content, like all Klavelio material, is general educational information. Nothing discussed in any session constitutes regulated financial advice or personal recommendations.
Structured Workshop
Prepared content, exercises, and guided learning on a specific topic. Typically 90 minutes.
Open Q&A Session
Informal live session for general questions about personal finance concepts. Typically 60 minutes.
Group Learning Session
Collaborative exploration of a topic with group discussion and shared exercises. Typically 2 hours.

Monthly Budgeting Workshop
WorkshopA focused 90-minute live session walking through the process of constructing a monthly household budget from scratch. Participants follow along with their own figures, with guidance from the Klavelio education team. Suitable for those who have completed the Money Foundations course or have equivalent basic knowledge.

Covers emergency funds, short-term saving for known costs, and how to maintain a savings habit during financially pressured periods. Includes practical exercises.

Covers category design, recording methods, and the first monthly review. Participants are encouraged to bring their own spending data to work with during the session.

Q&AA topic-focused Q&A session exploring a specific financial concept in depth. Each session covers one concept, for example interest rates, inflation, or net worth, with a short presentation followed by open discussion and questions. Topics rotate each session.
